Ran by a guy called Ian Churchill (now a good friend)

Not so much a dealer, but more of a garage, he repairs anything from your little twist and go, to your super sports bike, they have got a reputation in the area now of being the best and most friendly, mainly because of honest pricing and they are what I would call true mechanics, not someone who knows how to plug your ECU into the computer and read a fault code.

When I had my old SRAD, the rubber went on the gear lever, I took it there with the impression I would have to buy a whole new lever, instead he cut off some rubber tubing from something else and stuck it on, didn't charge me a penny... now if that had been a main dealer, it would have been a new lever and 2 hours to fit it! They actually use their brains there, and look after the customers.

There are still places like this around but not so many who work on bikes.
I work for a main dealer, not bikes i might add, and the problem they have is there hands are tied to a certain extent as to what they are allowed to do. if they do any thing which is not consided "by the book" the manufacturer behind them gets upset which usually involves sanctions of some kind (mainly a fine)

Ahhh, fair comment, Didn't think about that.

Still nice to find a proper garage though :)
