New Member - Bike runs and rides. Just doesnt Charge itself....

Hi everyone

Had my SRAD for over a year. Absolutely epic bike, it just doesn't seem to want to charge itself so every 3/4 days im having to manually charge battery - failing this means me running up and down the road bumping it (which it actually does reasonably easy unless its middle of winter)

Any ideas? People have said regulator perhaps?

Hi all

No idea if anyone has the same problem BUT it seems to be that if you leave the headlight switch in the on position even when engine off and key is out electric is still trickling out somewhere.

Easy fix (just need to turn them on once going)

i had problems with my battery draining, turned out the block connector to the rec/reg was fried, hard wired each one, been spot on ever since.

Check your voltages, you could end up frying your electrical system. Just saying.

The stator supplies the power and it gets dirty with burnt oil pull it out clean it with fine emery paper and put back
