Hi Can anybody offer advise with this problem.??
I have a 1996 750 SRAD V model with carbs, under 20,000 miles in standard issue trim. The bike fires up readily from cold and performs well until the engine is hot (ie normal operating temperature) it will then occasionally die when slowing for junctions, traffic lights, etc . at this stage it refuses to start unless left for approx. 10mins when it will fire up again!!!
I have not done any investigation as yet but if its a known problem am hoping to short track any unnecessary work.

Any info would be appreciated..

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a vacuum in the fuel tank try opening your filler cap and seeing if it restarts or runs better ,if it does you can either take it apart and take the rubber seal out or replace the cap

Thanks Doughboy, will try that, also I have replaced the battery with a decent Yuasa and this seems to have improved things!
