Hi all,

After wanting a bike for years but always prioritising cars after 15 years driving I’ve finally done my DAS and got my bike!

Did the 4 day DAS, passed Mod 1 and 2 first time with no minors!

Collected the bike the next day from DC in Huddersfield, superb service from them!

New tyres, service, brake pads, battery and MOT. Through in spinning bobbins and a disc lock.

Was absolutely shitting myself riding away with an audience in 0 degrees with new rubber on a new to me bike!

Managed 2 hours on Saturday before the rain started, the next 3 hours were hell!

Finally got home in 1 piece!

Already been out a lot! Really enjoying it! If anyone has any upgrades for an L0 750 let me know!

My plans in order are...

Exhaust hanger so I can remove the rear pegs
Silver indicator bulbs
Rim tape to match the R (recommendations welcome!)
Pazzo levers
Akrapovic GP exhaust

Hi all!

Changed a few bits to the bike!

Fitted the Akrapovic GP Megaphone exhaust, with the baffle it sounds perfect! Quiet enough on idle but really screams above 8000rpm.

Managed to source some black levers from a newer 1000 which makes a huge difference. I’m not a fan of the short levers, OEM ones in black are perfect!

Upgraded the headlight to an LED then upgraded again to a 6000k HID... still not great if I’m honest!

Spent hours removing all the manufacturers warning stickers!

And finally removed the rear pegs and fitted a plain exhaust hanger!

That pipe looks freaking awesome! Get a video of it if you can revving, would love to hear it. I don't know why, I still have all the stickers on the L0, although I guess you could say they detract from the looks of the bike, I kinda like them  strange.

Hi, I have some Pazzos on mine, looking to upgrade to ASVs so will be selling if you are interested? They are currently on an L6 750 but I have also used them on a K8 600 and L0 600. They are in great nick with very minor scuffs on the ends that have been touched up and are not noticeable. Yes, I confess to dropping but hey, I'm 5'2 with 28 inch inside leg so even now I have my bike lowered and the seat sculpted I'm still on my toes!!!!

Thank you but I’m more than happy with the OEM black levers 👍🏼

You could put them in the classifieds section.
Thanks, may just do that when they're ready to go. It was just a thought as Steve had them on the list of things he wanted for his bike. I have a red pair of ASVs on watch on Ebay, bargain at £75 but I'm not sure if red would look right ... fickle female lol

I forgot that I’ve done the silver indicator bulbs, subtle but makes a difference!

After purchasing a 6x4 plate and realising it’s too small I ordered a 7x5 and 8x6...decided on the 7x5, looks just right without taking the piss. Will probably knock the reflectors off at some point, not sure yet.

So now all I can think of that I want doing...

- Rim tape, going to order a few different colours to get a good match to the R
- R&G crash bobbins. I’ve got them but I don’t fancy drilling the hole!
- Steve Jordan to set the suspension up

SP Engineering sell Barracuda crash bungs that are no drill. The R&G equivalent cost nearly £300. I have the Barracudas and they are just as good as R&G and very easy to fit. They actually have a range of coloured inserts too which look mint.

They’re L1 onwards unfortunately. I’ve already got the R&G ones, would have bought the no drill ones but I preferred the ones that you neEd to drill!
