Torque problems when trying to wheelie

Hi. I own a GSXR 600 K5 2005.
I have tried wheelies over the years. I can get the front wheel up but get problems as the bike warms up, meaning i cant practice keeping it there.

This is an example of what happens:
Engine at 50-60 degrees
25mph, 1st gear, increase revs, clutch in, decrease then immediately increase revs, clutch out.
Front wheel points at sky no problem 2-3 times
Im starting to get warmed up, ready to try and stay on the back wheel.
Ride 1-2 miles and have another go. Front wheel comes up quite high again
Ready to get to point where i can start blipping throttle to keep it there
Ride a bit more, front wheel comes up, but not as high.
Gets progressively worse.
Engine now at 80 degrees.
Front wheel now only comes up a few inches,
Eventually it wont rise any more.
Torque isnt being transmitted to the back wheel quick enough now
Bike doesnt feel torquey
Throttle response seems to be delayed by a second or so.
Too late
Clutch, throttle, clutch must be in quick succession.
Sometimes massive revs can be heard but when clutch is released it seems to slip
All the power isnt being transmitted quickly enough, loss of torque needed to do wheelies
Im fed up at this point and my wrists hurt so off home i go.

I have adjusted the throttle cable, clutch, and tick over.
I cant see the following being an issue as im thinking they would cause trouble regardless of engine temperature, but i could be wrong?

Throttle position sensor, throttle body, air filter, fuel system.

Instead im thinking the following may be happening
Oil too old, causing clutch to slip once engine gets warm
Valve clearances wrong
Spark plugs struggling when hot
Other engine wear

So, im thinking,
Start with valve clearances, replace shims if worn.
Check engine compression to rule out any other wear
Replace engine oil and spark plugs
Fit a brand new clutch

I want to get to the bottom of this pronto. Already put up with it for years. Keep thinking, just giving up trying to get better at wheelies. Almost certain there is something mechanically wrong preventing me from using the whopping torque it has. Anybody else experienced these issues?
Any suggestions.
And, yes, i do want to wheelie, right place, right time, not where its going to cost me points.
Thanks.

Did further research. Others having this problem Torque ok when engine cool bad when hot. Clutch operates but power delivery lags. So im thinking new oil,and an uprated clutch kit comprising of stiffer springs and better plates. Thus allowing a sharper clutch for no longer period of time, any other suggestions?thanks. Ps why can't i post replys from a mobile?

Might be something to do with the clutch getting a hard time, it may be slipping slightly and not allowing full power to be put through to the wheel. This is just a guess and someone else will probably come up with a better reason.
