Hi fellow gixxer owners !
Right...
I've had an issue with my bike for few months now .I have a 2003 suzuki gsxr 600, 19k on the clock. It's been running a dream before now, but not long ago I've started having issues with the bike only at idle. I've been told by a lot of other owners they do have a lumpy idle (part from the fact It's been perfect on idle not lumpy at all since I had the bike) which I dunno if the others are just talking s**t....
Any way....
From cold the bike starts straight away not problems what so ever...
Left to idle, soon as the temperature reads beteeen 48°c-50°c the bike starts hesitating eraticly and feels and sound like it want to cut out....
As the temperature gets higher it gets worse.
If I blip the throttle very minimal no higher than 3k rpm really quick it tries to cut out with such a quick action, some a temps at doing this the bike just cuts out completely ,the idle Speed is set correctly to the Haynes manual spec so I know that's not to low .
Here is a list of what's be done/checked/tested so that you get an idea of what could be left to check..
•all 4 spark plugs have been replaced
•all 4 new coil plugs replaced
•compression test all perfectly ok
•regulate rectifier replaced
•fuel filter cleaned /fuel pump inspected ok
•new battery
•fuel injectors been checked and ran injector cleaner
•airfilter replaced so isn't clogged up
•eath temials etc all corrosion free
•oil and filter been replaced (thought I'd mention)
•I've even tried replacement ECM/CDI but still the same
•there are no FI codes
•TPS has been adjusted to mile marker so that's ok
The bike has a pipe werx slip on exhaust and pipercross air filter that's the only thing been done to the bike. Saying that tho the problem never happened before with these items still on so there not the cause for this problem .
To me it seems that soon as the bike gets to temperature something is breaking down. I'd Apreciate any advice and help as am trying to get ro the bottom of this,be nice to see of anyone else had had the same problem or knows anyone that could help.
Thanks every one ! Danny
