SRAD ignition wiring

Hi,

I am a new member who has just got his first Suzuki.

I am in the process of fitting a new ignition barrel to my bike as the old one had an attempted theft and someone cut the wires trying to hot wire it.

I have wired up the new barrel but the wiring loom has 7 wires and the barrel only has 6. There is an extra red wire but I do not know where it goes. The manual only shows 6 wires so I am baffled.

Any ideas?

All fixed. Someone had wired an extra wire into the red but it broken further up the loom hence no power.

I have moved to gixxer.com as the rate of responses and views on here is very slow.
