Hello all.
Ive got a GSXR 1000 that was smokey for a while and now wont start. Shes nearly at 40,000 miles. Do you think it will be the rings and need a rebore or maybe something else?
1- any idea of the cost of a rebore?
2- should i maybe just buy a second hand engine?
3- any other reason you can think of as to why she got smokey and now wont run?
Ive done alot of work on older cars and some smaller CC bikes since i was young but never attempted pulling an engine out of something like this- should i go ahead and pull out the engine and get involved or should i find a cheap shop/ bike enthusiast who can do it?
Any help will be much appreciated,
