have several maintenance projects lined up ; coolant change , spark plugs ,etc., and figure rather than removing fairings each time maybe just leave them off till i get around to all of it. this way i could continue using the bike and not have to go through this procedure each time. id just be riding locally till i finish. anybody done like that? mine is a 06 1000.
