Kirk here from Minnesota, USA. There's a couple feet of snow outside with a high of -5 tomorrow.

I bought a salvaged L3 1k, put on a 2011 header, cut out the exhaust valve, sealed the holes with high-temp putty, installed a danmoto mid pipe for the 2011 and flashed the ecu 85 times with wrt to get it right. I regret not getting the wideband o/2 sensor. I've been riding since I was seventeen, and this is my second 1K (K2 prior). I had two 1100's (93, 95) prior to the 1Ks. I really enjoy not seeing so many ads on this site. The other two gixxer sites, seem to be run by the same folks, crash my ipad2. I am looking forward to posting issues and responding if I have input. I ran in to a bunch of issues building out the L3.
