New Boy.

Not great with Forums, usually end up posting stuff in the wrong places. So if you are reading this intro upside down in the Bikes For sale section my apologies.

So new to the Forum but not to Gixers. Had my first in 1992, a GSXR750RR, then had 3 GSXR1100 over the next 10 years before swapping over to Aprilia, but I saw the light and am now back on a 2017 GSXR1000 which I bought about 3, maybe 2 months ago. ( time is playing with my mind ever since the first lock down) Love the bike. Bought it with 2100 miles on the clock, there is only 2415 on it yet but hoping to change that come the summer.

I do have a second GSXR which is what brings me to this forum. It’s a 1993 GSXR1100WP. I bought it recently from a mate who had the bike from new. He rode it to ASSEN in 93 and 94 and apart from those two trips and a bit of blasting round local roads in Hampshire it lived all its life in his front room. Still Japanese air in the tyres.
So now I have it I want to ride it, but first I want to add a 4-into-1 exhaust and a stiffened Swing-arm. Haven’t looked for a Swing-Arm yet but I suspect it will be as hard to find as the exhaust system.
