gsxr 750 L1 with k7 muffler - workable?

hi,
i love my 750L1 but i do miss the tiny k7 exhaust of my previous gixxer - the bike looked much better with that one.
Even though since k8 the bike sports the large exhaust muffler - could one fit the k7 muffler - is it feasible - on the newer models like the L1?

If the shoe fits ... I mean if it physically fits the brackets and doesn't hit the swingarm etc, and doesn't leak , should be ok if its fitted correctly sure,
