Gsxr 600 k5 exhaust for trackdays

Hey everyone,

just wanting some advice on a exhaust that sounds decent but also passes all the msv tracks noise limits. I personally have a Beowulf can which works for me and comes out at 98db when noise testing but my friend who has the same bike has a carbon look exhaust which looks custom made comes in at 103 so only just is allowed to do Cadwell Park.

if anyone has any good ideas and some facts about their exhaust / dB that would be great!

most full length cans should pass noise test when new.. akrapovic are generally quieter than other race systems, we sell a few different brands, and most are fine, even my akra on my rsv4 (which are known to be noisy) pass for 102db trackdays - but for club racing, we generally use MHP exhausts, because of the weight and cost.. MHP will make you a can that comes with a gaurantee for trackdays, so worth getting in touch with mark
