1990 1100 front end replacement with gsxr 1000.... Which model is best?

Hi, has anyone replaced a slingshot 1990 complete front end with any of 1000cc K models?
I also want to use the matching back wheel and braking system off same bike.
Which model K is the easiest and hassle free, do I need to change swing arm or will replacing the standard 1100 shock with a better one be enough?
Id be happy to hear if anyone has done this & it was a success as im planning to get it done in the autumn.
Any tips or help would be appreciated.

You may have done it already, but you can save yourself a lot of grief if you go on allsballs website they do a bearing kit with spacers you just put in what bike you are using ie gsxr1100 and what doner forks you want to use and they made me some and i could use any gixxer 1000 , tl or busa front end the only thing with the k is you need to change the clocks as well hope its of use pal.
