1000 K6 Clutch rattle play

I've got a rattle the goes away when the clutch is pulled in . I think its down to the inner basket . The inner basket is made up of an ali outer and a steel inner held together by 3 rivets . theres quite a bit of play in mine im just wandering if this is normal thanks Daniel

Hi, I've got a 1000K1 and mine does exactly the same. Its done 29000 miles. I took it to North East Motorcycles in Durham who were Suzuki dealers at the time, they still have the same Suzuki trained mechanic but ditched the Suzuki dealership after almost 50 years, and he said it was nothing to worry about. That was a few years ago now and it hasn't got ant worse. I'm tempted to renew the clutch plates and springs but I don't know when I'll get round to doing that. Probably when it breaks completely!
