What's it worth?

Hi posted this elsewhere on this site....can anyone help I have the chance to buy a mint 2001 750Y 3k miles only trouble is its not moved a wheel for 8 yrs and wasn't prepped to be laid up. Been in a dry garage though. Any idea what would be a reasonable price and what will need to be sorted on it? Any advice welcome. Cheers

Gixxer are almost bullet proof. Only thing I'd think maybe the worst problem was if the fuel was left in the tank and lines. I'd say if it hadn't been stood and was fully working it be round the 2k Mark. I'd maybe ask if the fuel was left in and get a mechanic check it out. Possibly offer 1500 for it. It's a gamble but may pay off.
