a quick intro, currently a very proud owner of a GSXR 750 L7, Picked the bike up 2 weeks ago today!!
As the bike is new I have kept too the recommended run in schedule (and that was mind blowing
) I bought
the bike in the black and yellow colours and have had many admiring looks/comments. Reached the 500 mile
yesterday and opened the bike slightlytotally awesome!!!The GSXR goes in for the 500 mile service tomorrow
so have refrained from the 10,000 revs until after
Oh the reason for my "sidetracked" title, being a sprightly 50 yr old and having moved away from sports bike
along time ago (going for the more comfortable position!!!) my so called pedigree so too speak back in my
early days were gsxr 600 srad, zx6r, zx9r as sports bikes, other was gsx 1400 and an old carb bandit 1200s (pussy option
with fairing lol), the one bike I have always wanted for the last 20 years was the GSXR 750 and found myself in
a position too get one why be old/sensible ( got too live life lol) and so hence a very proud owner of personally I
think one of the best production sports bikes ever!!
By the way I have kept the Bandit, that my all year round/commute bike, and a hooligan in its own right lol
