Just thought I'd pop by and say hello! Got myself a 750 K7, picked up about a couple of months ago. I also have a MK1 GSF600 which is my more "comfortable" rider I've done around 500miles so far and loving it, the only thing disappointing, which seems to be a common fault are the mirrors! Currently wearing aftermarket which wobble so I've put a screw through the arm, but at night they're atrocious! Difficult to discern what lane cars are in It could also do with having some fairings replace, as unbeknown to me at the time it was CAT N, due to the cost of repair (seller hadn't told me and was only apparent after I'd got the V5 ) Any ideas of the best place to get these?

Welcome! Post up a few pictures of your new ride. I have a K7 1k and a k5 750. I love riding them but they are hard of the back end...

There's a few things that need a bit of a tidy up, some replacement fairings and I want to remove some of the stickers the PO put on, the parking lights also don't work (one of the plugs is missing and the fitting was glued up after it had a been down) so those need addressing. Along with a few minor bits but it rides ok, it's on 19k, and as far as I'm aware the valves haven't been checked, some people have said it should be done around 15k??

Very nice!!! My k7 Headlights were both on all the time and the front blinkers didn't work. I had to change out the left switch cluster, I also bought new blinkers PO cut out the wires, who knows why and the connecters were messed up and a bunch of other stuff I had issues were the fuel system...almost all sorted out now. I hope you can enjoy the rest of the riding season

The dipped headlight is always on, or do you mean the full/main beam? At least swapping the unit out solved the problem. I've found a lot working on vehicles I've purchased second hand that the previous owner has bodged it in some way!

The rocker switch for selecting hi or low had failed and both beams were on all the time. Took the switch apart and found out that a small part had broken and allowed the inner workings to short together. E-Bay to the rescue.
