Hey all,

Finally got the chance to register as a Suzuki owner of a 2001 GSX-R 600 K1 with only 4k miles on the clock and 1 owner since new!
Had a K9 before but unfortunately was swiped by a drunk driver a few weeks into ownership. Now I'm finally back on a sports bike again and off the dual sports...

Any recommendations on what to do with a K1 - any mods you'd recommend from experience or shall I leave it vanilla and just enjoy the girl?

Hellooooooooooooo to both of you, 8bit, that's a pretty lady you've got there!! I'd say keep her the way she is, maybe trim that exhaust down a little, but then I'm a fan of the more stubby look myself.

Bol d'or I've just read your post about exhausts, I remember Scorpion/Skorpion cans and I'm pretty certain they are now called Akrapovic. M&P might well be able to help you with your requirements, I used to run carbon Micron slip-ons that were road legal
