So I rode to work on Tuesday, it was a bit fresh in the morning but with clear blue skies I was looking forward to my dinner break to go for a ride in the sunshine. Only thing is as I pulled away from my parking spot I rode over the steel weighbridge at work and the back end lit up and the bike decided to lay down, albeit at 3mph, I still managed to kill a crash bung, bend the rear brake lever to the most awkward angle ever, break a fairing panel and fracture my right elbow
Parts ordered, along with some R&G lever protectors and R&G engine case covers and she'll be back to her former glory very shortly. In the meantime, my S/O decided to buy me a GSXR that I can't crash
So I'm off work for the next 4-6 weeks and I've learnt not to ride over the weighbridge again. However, every cloud and all that, at least I don't have to ride in the cold mornings for the next month!!!
