I hope somebody can help me here and save me making expensive mistakes.
My L2 750 gets pulled by marshals almost every trackday.
I need to find a way to have an exhaust that is open, un-baffled and stays below 100dB static with no backfire under engine breaking...
Currently I have the stock downpipes with cat removed and Arrow can installed. It's too loud and the moment I introduce any baffle the bike becomes pretty much unridable and frankly quite dangerous with horrible flat spots that affect my corner throttle control.
I have the RapidBike Evo installed so in theory the fuelling should sort out itself but with constant changes and emergency baffles the system has no chance to adapt as it keeps being messed with.
Has anybody managed to setup their 750 so it breaths properly and makes it within noise limits without cat and baffle?
I was thinking of buying a biggher and fatter end can. Something like the 1000cc Akrapovic one but I am not sure if it will fit my bike...
