Hi all and hello.
Just bought a 600 K2
Can anyone tell me the internal distance between the swing arm arms where the spindle goes through?
Went to adjust the chain and the arms seem to spring out a bit far when I release the spindle nut.
Also found that some monkey boy has stripped the thread on the spindle at some time and am wondering if he put a smaller spacer in and over tightened to get back to some decent thread.
Any info appreciated.

That sounds a bit worrying and must be putting extra stress on the swinger. does it look like the thread has been damaged, if so I would replace the spindle asap, you may find on Fleabay a complete spindle and spacers cheap, the pictures would also give you an idea if yours are incorrect. Good luck with sorting that one..................amazes me the fixes some people get up to.

I know what you mean. Yep already ordered one complete with spacers so I can check the sizes. Got to gothrough bike with a fine tooth comb now to check for other horrors
