GSXR1000 K3 chec on dash no temp

Hi there

Does anyone know why the chec symbol would stay on the clock and no temperature shows
Bike set up for track so few things disconnected, no fan, side stand switch been bypassed, bike runs fine but would like to see temp for piece of mind.
All work done by previous owner who said it could be the radiator sensor but it never bothered him.
Any ideas appreciated.

Found the fault with the chec light staying on, the front wiring loom had been bodged and modded so various things could be disconnected
Fitted a second hand front loom and everything works fine and the temp displays on dash plus the bike works good on track.
