Hi folks this is my first post of many. Shame it's about a problem on my bike but I was told this is the best place to get the info..
Well I own a Gsxr 1000 k3/4, and it's started knocking from the top half of the engine. I was told it could be the cam chain tensioner which I brought a brand new one from Suzuki and it's still the same. When the bike is sat there ticking over it's normal and it's normal when it's cold but when it's warmed up and revved from around 3k revs onwards it starts tapping/knocking at the top.
I just woundered if anyone had a clue or have had the same problems in the past? Before I take it to a shop where I don't want to get ripped off or set it on fire haha
