Newbie just checking in. well, after many years of not having a bike due to one thing and another (house purchase marriage etc...) I've managed to get myself a very clean 1 owner GSXR 600 K3. she's a beauty. Totally standard, even down to indicators and exhaust. Brand spanking new tyres front and back, FSH and 1 owner from new. I must admit I've not had a bike for nearly 10 years, so it was a little daunting getting back in to the saddle, especially a bike of this nature - but like they say, it's just like riding a bike...
Previous bike was an R6, purchased brand new (when you could pick up brand new bikes for less than 6 grand.) but always hankered for that GSXR howl.
Taking it easy at the minute for obvious reasons, learning the bikes characteristics etc - But my god it it makes a lovely noise on full chat, even with the standard can.
Not many mods on the list, I want to keep it as standard as possible - Only thing I've ordered is a carbon fibre GP exhaust, should be here next week.
Just going to have a look through the site, maybe have a look at any breakfast runs are going on etc. I'm based in Manchester, so I have to head out a fair bit for some decent roads.
