Hi, have a yosh single outlet tri oval for my k7 1000 gsxr, looking to ditch the twin outlet standard cans and middle box, my question is should I just get a power commander or a remap of the ecu, thanks.

I ran a delkevic stubby on my k6 750 and never bothered with a pc or remap. It seems a lot of cash for very little gain

Hi underdog. Was gettin mixed information on some internet sites about having to disconnect wires from the ecu and such. Thought this would just bolt up and the lambda sensor took care of the fueling. The yosh is an American tri oval single can and link pipe.

Iirc it's wire 36, black wire from the ecu, all it does is stop the Fi light and throwing a code

Do you need to do chop this wire?, having second thoughts on changing the exhaust now, was just changing the twin standard cans because they are ugly and heavy.

You can chop it, or what I did was to disconnect the plug, and with a very small screwdriver poke the pin out of the plug and put some pvc tape around it. That way if you decide to go back to stock you can just push the pin back in to the plug
