Hi all, I’d just replaced the sump on my 85 slabside having replaced the engine into the frame. Having refitted the oil cooler and lines I was preparing to oil her up. But No! I find this odd little bugger and ‘me thinks’, “where the f*ck has that come from?” Off comes the sump again and I still can’t see where it’s from, if it’s from my bike at all? I check my microfiche and see that the detent plunger (pressure relief valve) is not like this one. There is something similar in the starter clutch but haven’t had that apart. Any ideas please?
