I’ve swopped my 750Y for my sons 1000K1 as one of them needed to go as we’d both run out of space.
I’ve just been for a ride on the 1000 and it’s got an annoying chattering noise that starts at about 2500 rpm and keeps going. It only does it under load when moving, not stationary, and it stops as soon as you shut off. If it was a 1970’s Honda I’d say it was cam chain but then I’d expect that to happen when reving it on the stand?
Before I start tearing things apart have you any suggestions of things to check?
