New 2016 GSX-r 750 owner here. Pic for reference (after Akra exhaust install).

I need new tires and was going to remove front and rear wheel myself

Pretty straightforward like most sport bikes, or are there any quirks? One specific Q: on the 2016 750, there is a large ALLEN bolt on the right-hand fork, and a 27mm NUT on the left-hand side. I've seen videos where they ONLY use a 27mm socket to undo the nut.... -- but do you not also need a gigantic Allen key to hold the allen (axle) bolt head of the axle in place when re-tightening the axle nut to spec torque?! Or is that accomplished by keeping the two 10mm pinch bolts tight in place on the allen-head side?

PS: I understand there is a gixxer 750 Service Manual on this site for the 2011-16 model years, but I do not have acccess. Can anyone send me a PM with a direct link / file copy? thanks!

Not sure about 2016, but 2005 750 is nothing special, same as every other bike. Apply the brake before tightening calliper bolts. Bounce forks to make sure they are aligned before tightening pinch bolts on left (facing the bike).

Best place I found to get Allen Key for axle was Halfords, was only £10.
