K5 GSXR600 hitting the roads after 8 (yes EIGHT) years of resting

So my little baby has been in my mum garage for best part of 8yrs. She has just over 8k on the clock.... I want to get her back out for the last trickles of summer.

Any suggestions or pitfalls to look out for after so long not even being stated!?
