GSXR125 Starting problem

Hi all

I‘m having an issue with my lad’s Gixxer 125. It won’t start - just clicking from the relay when the button is pressed.

I’ve replaced the relay and the only improvement is that it now repeatedly clicks every two or three seconds rather than once and just killing the battery as happened pre-replacement.

Next option would be the starter motor. The only things is that when I ‘jump’ the terminals on the relay it starts instantly, suggesting the starter motor is fine.

I’ve also tried the battery off my bike (which I know is healthy) and it does the exact same thing.

Have I just bought a duff replacement or does anyone have any ideas?

I’m at a complete loss with it right now!

I’ve now replaced the ‘EBay’ relay with a brand new OEM from Suzuki.

Check kick stand that its up also make sure neutral and clutch is in .Now its a gsxr ?125 never seen that

if u still nor fixed i seem that gsxr.com have got a 125 with same thing happen pinned on there site
