Hi all,
I have a K5 750. Owned from new, she was an anniversary model. Resprayed a nice matte black. I fancied a change and thought I’d strip her. This was 2013. I paid a “Friend” to mount the projector headlights I wanted. Seven months later, I told his missus (he was now invisible) to open their garage or I’d cut my way in. A sad and broken beast was revealed. He’d been stripping her of parts and selling them!?!!?
I took the remains home and began a full restoration.
